Yoga for Hypermobility: Principles for a Safe Practice
Yoga for Hypermobility: Principles for a Safe Practice
Our Yoga for Hypermobility guidelines offer suggestions for safely modifying your yoga practice as well as tips for talking with your doctor, physical therapist, and yoga teacher.
For the most benefit and least risk to you, we highly recommend you work privately with a yoga teacher familiar with hypermobility to learn how to apply these principles to your body. This goes for not just for new students but also (in fact, especially) for those of you who have been practicing for a long time and may have some long-held habits that may not be serving you on the mat.
We'd love to keep in touch with you through occasional (more or less monthly) emails and announcements, so please fill out the form to the right and let us know how we can help (for example, if you are interested in private sessions or a teacher training).
Before you download our guidelines, which we explore in depth in our workshops, trainings, and upcoming book, please see our Terms of Use. Then click the link below for your download.
